Based in Borough, London, Uncommonly was set up in 2018 by James Collard, Sarah Glyde and Gill Morgan with the aim of delivering distinctive, crafted content, design and experiences for leading luxury and cultural brands. The three founding partners have a rich mix of experience at the highest level in editorial and sales and marketing roles across the arenas of publishing, luxury travel, the auction world and event management – a combination of skills that clients often find compelling. Between them they have done everything from editing national titles on both sides of the Atlantic, creating books and films for major brands, and curating VIP experiences for private banks, auction houses and luxury hotels. With Creative Director Sara Redhead, Uncommonly works with an extensive network of expert writers, editors, photographers, illustrators, designers and filmmakers.

James Collard

James Collard edited glossy magazines in London and New York before joining The Times, where he edited Times Luxx. At his previous agency James edited the GRAFF coffee-table book for Rizzoli New York, Red Life for Red Valentino and was launch editor of Robb Report UK. James co-founded Uncommonly in 2018.

Sarah Glyde

Sarah Glyde held senior sales and marketing roles at Starwood and Kiwi Collection and was global head of private client services at Christie’s. On the launch team of the Little Book of Wonders lifestyle portal for Barclays Wealth, Sarah has curated events and experiences for a number of luxury hotel groups. Sarah co-founded Uncommonly in 2018.

Gill Morgan

Gill Morgan edited The Times Magazine and co-founded Times Luxx, before becoming a consultant editor at BBC Magazines. At her previous agency she edited Eat Drink Nap for Soho House and led the editorial team that developed magazines, books and digital content for a wide range of luxury brands. Gill co-founded Uncommonly in 2018.

Sara Redhead

Sara Redhead developed Grazia UK as creative director for its launch and then consulted on the title’s global expansion. She art directed Times Luxx and Harpers Bazaar Art, consulted for The White Company and Anna Valentine Couture, and was co-founder and creative director of the award-winning innovative digital platform, The Pool. Sara joined Uncommonly as Creative Director in 2018.
